The sea, the ocean, the water, the beauty.... the innocence?
Last year there were many headlines about oil spill in the ocean killing animal and nature itself and also last year the Costa Concordia disaster was the partial sinking of the Italian cruise ship Costa Concordia when it ran aground at Isola del Giglio, Tuscany, on 13 January 2012 with the loss of 32 lives. Heres a poem I wrote about the beautiful long stretched water that surrounds us with the secrets in the deep.

Secrets In The Deep
They say man couldn't live without me
But if there is too much, one could die because of me
If there is more of me, the fittest will struggle to surface
I'm beautiful from above
and even more fascinating below
You can sit and watch from the cove
Inhale the wonders the nature bestow
They say the scent can heal
The sound can revive
The adventure appeal
But will you come out alive?
Sail on me, Ride with me
Sail on forever
Though the waves you must beat
Fetch my temper
Dive whatever
The unexpected is your treat
They say I'm beautiful
What do you say?
When I'm calm I can lure your spirit
Call you to the tropics
Like a mother I guard the continents
Burrying my trophies
Thats what all of them say
But if I could speak instead of roar
If I could shout you wouln't understand
For I 'am but a wave crushing on the shore
Listen closely you will hear me weep
Naturally I'am beautiful but my bed is littered in the deep
Valuable items to the least wanted mess
Man spill the un-natural waste on me and more
One could only guess
Killing my beauty, destroying infinity
Now look closely I will open my treasure chest
Your floating Godesses lay in my dark cradle
Rusted and battered on its original position
I took titanic down in a flick of a violin's fiddle
A careless monster wrecked my shore
Now Concordia will never sail anymore
I swallowed a great number of iron birds too
During your wars they crashed into me to ease the fume
I did what I can but the rest I consume
Too heavy too float the end you can assume
Millions of lives find their resting place in me
Is it my fault or do you want it to be
Blame it on the nature who can not speak
Still it won't set you free
I can never be sentenced
I can never be judged
It is you who will face the pressure
While some truth will never merge
It is hard not to invest in my beauty
Though you are slowly killing me
I will forever reflect the sky
Dance with the wind
And sleep to your delight
Calm as i can be
I'am still a grave site
