Poem: Pacific Beauty
Wake me to the scent of the frangipani and the fresh grass around me
Spare me the description and allow me to roam free
Under the clear blue sapphire sky
The Pacific beauty opens up my eyes
Show what I have never seen
Take me to places I have never been
Pacific Beauty I wonder why
Wake me to the touch of the cool breeze against my cheeks
To the touch of the salty liquid under my feet
Under a palm tree I yearned to see
This ever glistening beach in front of me
Pinch me to remind me that I’m not dreaming
Proof to me that this is more than a feeling
Pull me down if I’m way too high
Pacific Beauty I wonder why
Wake me to a whole new serenity
Hold me close before the night embraces me
Speak to me before the silence allows me to escape
Chase me before the crystal water reaches me
Confide in me the peace of in-civilization
Now the palm tree is all but a blur
The sound of the waves are heard from a distance
Don’t wake me but
Assure me that I will return to the place of the sun
Where the stillness of the environment meditates in me
Where I can be lured easily
Where the smile awaits me to capture the scene in my memory
Where casual never ends
Where little is everything
Now I know why
Pacific beauty is more than just scenery
More than illumination
More than a dream way or safe haven in a foreign nation
More than a treasure in a floating villa
Pacific beauty conceives me inside and out

Poem: DREAM
The night is young, foretold for some
Slowly, silently slipping into unconsciousness is fun
My nerves released old and new information I seek
Compact, intact yet distract me from my sleep
I turn I toss I breath hard as my heart could go
Restrained from action prone to danger
Yet I feel vulnerable not a king but a pawn
As the night unfolds its horrors or laughter
Check mate I dare say let it be drawn
So there I was floating or flying
Utterly speechless, searching for words mildly below the surface
Drowning in an invisible spiral cascade
Etching for a human touch in this facade
Rain pouring thickly on my cover
As I found myself wrapped on the base of whatever
My skin were as dry as the outback weather
Yet I could see the droplets on my shoulder
Where am i?
What am I wearing?
How did I get here?
Measuring the depths of my insanity
Repeating the formidable words with curiosity
I’m dreaming, it is just a dream
Oh am I really?
I’m awake it seem
Out of air but the gravity consoles me
I cannot see but the darkness evolves me
Inserting the knowledge I posses
I untangle myself from the rest
Engulfed amidst the shimmering spectacle
The universe reveals such a miracle
In the vacant space my feet touched a solid frame
A peculiar new trip that feels the same
Now the images are but a fraction
Looming in and out of this solid construction
My room came into view
Or what’s left of it
Creeping vines entwined the doorway
And the walls smothered with climbing roses
Reality is far away
As I enjoy the pauses
The Seven Wonders of the World
Captivate what’s left of my soul
Golden sand dunes in a background of the pyramids
Swarming with secrets not meant for all
Releasing the tension I’m now in defeat
Giving in to the beauty of the endless fall
Draping the colors of the rainbow around me
Fabricating the vision to invent the fallacy
You see it
Now you don’t
Black from white
And coal from gold
Once was a sleep
Now awake
Fictions and fantasy turns to reality
Gaining one thing while the other is at stake
It is all a dream you see
All a dream to me
But still wonder
Yes i wonder
When the next night comes
What awaits
